This exercise is called 90/90 external rotation and works the rotator cuff. It uses a resistance band to help build strength and stability in the shoulder joint. This exercise should not be done without the supervision of a certified strength and conditioning trainer or a certified tennis-teaching professional who is knowledgeable about biomechanics and specific tennis training.
