Description:
Check out this video featuring USPTA Master Professional Rick Macci with one of his favorite drills that works on volleys, reaction time, agility and change of direction. Make feeds scalable to each player’s level of play.

Tip:

This week’s tip features USPTA Master Professional Rick Macci with a fun drill that works on volleys, reaction time, agility and change of direction. He emphasizes that players need to react with their feet instead of hands, and move through the ball in order to hit volleys effectively. Players move in a V pattern to close the net and all volleys are hit down the line.

Try this drill with your players during their next practice. Make the drill scalable by adjusting the feeds according to the player’s level.
