Tip:

This week’s tip features USPTA Professional Emilio Sanchez Vicario demonstrating an exercise in which players work on the transition game and finishing at the net. The drill requires players to hit a combination of approach shots and volleys, all from the upper-level strike zone. The approach shots are hit crosscourt and the volleys are hit down the line. The drill requires great movement and footwork, along with very good balance. By varying the feeds and using the concept of scalability, this drill can be adapted to players of any skill level.
