Description: Check out USPTA Master Professional Lorenzo Beltrame talking about how to move efficiently when preparing to hit a successful inside out forehand.
Tip:
The inside out forehand has always been a shot that players used as a weapon and it’s becoming even more dominant in today’s game. We see players like Rafael Nadal who run around all the way to the backhand corner to hit a crushing forehand inside out.
So what does it take to hit a successful forehand inside out? It begins with efficient footwork and movement to position yourself behind the ball, balanced set up and continues with uncoiling the kinetic chain by exploding into the ball, making early contact point and following through toward the target.
This week’s tip features USPTA Master Professional Lorenzo Beltrame sharing a few tips about the footwork needed on the inside out forehand.
