One of the secrets to a successful and effective serve is variety. The more unpredictable a player is with his serves, the better. It keeps the opponent guessing and makes him feel uncomfortable on the return. Are your players able to hit a variety of flat, kick and slice serves?
Let’s take a look at the slice serve. This particular type of serve offers accuracy, a smaller margin for error and can seriously hinder the opponent on the return due to its spin. You can pull the opponent off the court or slide the ball into his body, making him hit off the left or right hip. Learn why accuracy can be more efficient than power.
